Oh Swoon, I have been wanting to make this quilt for the longest time and it has only taken about 2 years. Cutting the fabric took a bit of time and i dutifully labelled each set and put it in a ziplock bag, and there it lingered for awhile, in a box under  my bed.

It has been slow going but I  finally managed to get it done. The blocks aren’t difficult to put together but you need to keep your wits around you and pay attention to what you are doing – i learned this the hard way – but once you get the first few blocks done, the others come together quite quickly.

I have not decided how I want to go about quilting the top yet, this will be my biggest quilt top yet so, hopefully it won’t take another 2 years to get the quilting done.
